Emergency and Project Crew Accommodations Home base for deployed crews
Deployed Response acts as your accommodation project management team to evaluate, scope, and provide accommodations for deployed crews (emergency or project related). Working from the epicentre of each site, we are building a coalition of responders from Municipalities, 1st Responders, Utilities, Insurance, to Restoration and Construction teams that need reliable and proximity first lodging, fast. Orchestrating between responding waves to secure accommodations closest to each event site and optimize project costs. We serve Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Atlantic provinces. Contact us today for a fast quote or to learn more about our services.
Housing your crews is not a hotel problem. It is a cost, inventory and location problem.
Catastrophe Response Accommodations
When a loss lands, crews arrive in waves: response, then assessment, then recovery. Working from the epicentre out, we book the closest properties first, pass each bed to the next wave on confirmed release, never on a planned date, and keep the closest beds with the response on longer-stay terms.
Seasonal Workforce Housing
Temporary housing for seasonal crews and housing programs, with a crew manifest and the reporting the program asks for.
Project Crew Accommodations
Planned construction, restoration and maintenance work, housed from one brief. Hotels, short-term rentals, RVs, trailers and modular units, and remote camps where lodging is limited, matched to the site, the crew and the length of stay.
Travel & Logistics
Commercial and charter flights and ground transport, arranged with the beds so the crew lands where the work is.
About Deployed Response
One Agent of Record, From the First Wave to the Last
Deployed Response is a lodging logistics company. We sit between the crews who deploy and the properties that house them, as the central agent of record for every booking. We are not a hotel and we do not own beds. We are not a booking portal or a corporate travel agency. We hold the booking, arrange the credit and keep the record, so your crew lead does not have to.
Our founder, Kyle Straub, has led accommodation through some of Canada's most significant events, including:
Flin Flon, MB: Wildfires
Peterborough, ON: Ice Storm
Jasper, AB: Wildfires
Richmond, BC: Flooding
Kelowna, BC: Wildfires
Drayton Valley, AB: Wildfires
We source from hotels, short-term rentals, RVs, trailers and modular units, and remote camps where lodging is limited. Registered with IATA under TIDS 96245892.
Our Process
How It Works
Agreed before the season, not improvised during the event.
1
Set Up Before the Season
Tell us where you respond, your crew types and sizes, and who pays: Direct Bill, Credit Card Authorization or Advanced Retainer. Credit is cleared before an event, not during one. Nothing is booked before an event.
2
One Brief When a Loss Lands
One contact sends us the site, the crew size, the arrival date and the expected stay.
3
Closest Beds, Terms Agreed
We source the closest beds to the work, agree terms with each property and send you the options to approve.
4
Managed Until Crews Go Home
Crew registration, the manifest and managed check-in. Rooms passed on or backfilled as waves change. One reconciled invoice at the end.

Deployed Response provides emergency crew accommodations and workforce housing solutions in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the Atlantic provinces. We specialize in remote and underserved regions where traditional lodging infrastructure is limited.
How quickly can Deployed Response arrange emergency accommodations?
When a loss lands, we start from terms already agreed with you, so sourcing begins on your brief rather than on credit checks and contracts. We source from hotels, motels, short-term rental properties and alternative housing (RVs, trailers and modular units). Timing depends on the location, the season and what the market holds.
What types of accommodation does Deployed Response provide?
We provide a full range of accommodation options including public hotels, short-term rental properties, alternative housing such as RVs, trailers, and modular units, as well as remote camp solutions for areas with limited infrastructure. We match the right solution to your project's location, budget, and timeline.
Who does Deployed Response work with?
We house the crews that restoration, construction, utility and insurance companies send to a loss or a project in our service provinces. We work alongside municipalities, emergency operations centres and 1st Responders as part of the response.
Does Deployed Response handle travel logistics in addition to accommodations?
Yes. We arrange commercial and charter flights and ground transport alongside the beds, so the crew lands where the work is.
